So we call ourselves a green salon?

The choice is Verde's to only use and sell products that DO NOT contain HARMFUL CHEMICALS. Synthetic Parabens and Ammonia are only a couple of toxins that may have negative affects on our health but yet remain very popular ingredients in most products used in Salons & Spas.

The choice is ours to use eco-friendly recycled materials, energy efficient appliances/lighting & low VOC paint to create our organic ambience at Verde.

The choice is ours to reduce what we use, re-use what we can and recycle what we can't.

Where does your hair go after your visit?

After your visit with one of the six highly trained stylists at Verde, your hair takes part in an eco-friendly outreach program. Verde is a proud collaborator with Matter of Trust, a non-profit organization that concentrates on both ecological and educational programs for manmade and natural surplus. Verde Salon donates all hair clippings to Matter of Trust, who make mats that help soak up oil spills in our oceans and along our shorelines worldwide. The mats are made up of your hair and other recycled materials.
